First Order with Steve - CF Daytonas (v3 Panda and v2 SS) and Deep Factory Crystal

I just placed my first order with Steve for a CF Panda v3 and a CF SS Daytona v2. Also ordered a Deep Factory crystal that Steve offered to swap out for me. I've ordered from other TDs in the past, but have read very good reviews about Steve and thought I would give him a try.

Intend to be a repeat customer if everything goes smooth. So far communication has been excellent. I will provide updates as they occur.

- April 10, 2023: Initial inquiries about stock. Order placed with payment via credit card.

Not sure whether the upgrade will be worth it yet (am concerned that the LEC is too visible), but haven't heard very good things about the stock CF crystals.

I mean we have to think about what we are getting 100% honest. 99.99% of people won't know the difference, and in addition, the photos we see are way way way bigger. I remember going on this forum and surfing photos of gen vs rep.

When I went to the AD in person everything felt small and looked small compared to online photos, lol.

Totally agree. My concern is that the Deep Factory crystal LEC would be visible even from a casual glance if someone was to try it on. Only time will tell!

yeah, I think you might be overthinking it.

- April 11, 2023: QC photos have arrived (that was fast!). I’ve requested additional photos of the 116520 to see rehaut alignment and lume.

I’ve RL’d the panda due to crooked chrono and hour marker alignment — Steve is asking for clarification. Response sent. Very good communication thus far.

- April 12, 2023: I’ve GL’d the 116520. Steve has confirmed he will get a replacement Panda for QC (which will take a few days).

- April 15, 2023: received updated QC photos of the 116500. Requested additional photos.

- April 16, 2023: additional photos received. GL’d.

Waiting on shipping info for both watches.

Steve was kind enough to refund me the price of the deep crystal after I changed my mind (currently waiting on the refund). Customer service thus far has been exemplary.

- April 20, 2023: items shipped.

- May 5, 2023: received both watches today. The watches were well packed and a complementary screwdriver was included.


Would not hesitate to purchase from Steve again! Amazing customer service.
