First Order - Payment via Wise (Issues with payment)

First order was for a Blancpain FF on steel bracelet. Ordered after confirming via email that they could source it.

Timeline:
  • Oct 23 - Ordered watch, received payment information via email, sent payment via Wise
  • Oct 24 - Wise confirmed payment sent
  • Oct30th - Nov 6 - Chazingtime replied twice to my questions enquiring if they’ve received the money. I was asked to send over payment receipt.
  • Nov 6 - One email from Chazingtime saying they haven’t received payment yet. Have talked with Wise and they say money has been successfully sent.
Have quadruple checked at this point that the details in Wise match what was sent in the transfer email, been two weeks now and now and still waiting for confirmation of payment. According to Wise chazingtime need to take the payment receipt I’ve sent and ask their bank to enquire, but not heard back if this is what they are doing.

Not trying to get all up in arms here, just some more communication from Chazingtime would be appreciated at this point. Hard to have a conversation when they reply sporadically.

That’s strange usually payment using Wise transfers within minutes.
Was a wire transfer, but essentially was completed in less than 12 hours I’d say. Essentially one night to next morning. Still haven’t heard back from them even though I’ve asked for an update a couple times.

I’m sure you’re frustrated, just be patient he’s probably just busy. CTIME is a very reputable TD. He wouldn’t be on here if he wasn’t. Hopefully you’ll get everything straightened out soon.

I just placed my first order a few days ago, chose this TD as well. I thought I’d add that I had issues using wise as well. My transfer went through fine when I selected Apple Pay through wise. It was pretty near instant, just for future reference.
I’ll post about the purchase once I receive the watch.

Got an email back this morning that they checked their wise and bank account and dont see the money. I’ve asked they take the payment receipt to their bank to ask where the money is and waiting on a response.

I’m totally new as well, but just curious why transfer via Wise (5% discount) instead of direct bank wire transfer (10% discount)?

I just placed my order and opted for the direct wire transfer from my bank instead.

Friday 10th - Almost 3 weeks after the payment confirmed as sent (to the correct supplied account details) they’ve finally said they’d check with the bank.

As it was a Friday they said they wont find anything out over the weekend. Suppose I will follow up on Monday.

I did Wise as well when I bought my GMT from them and it took about a week to get verification that they received the money, you should be fine.

A week or two wouldnt stress me, but the confirmation the money was sent from Wise (wire transfer) is now 3 weeks ago and the money is neither in their bank or mine. Hoping it’s sorted out soon if they can check with their bank today, as it was transferred to their actual bank account (not wise to wise)

Not trying to be alarmist but are you convinced that you are talking to the genuine Chazingtime?
If ok then check the target bank details. I’ve only used Wise to Wise so not certain whether bank account and sort codes are issued with the receipt that you sent. One digit error is enough to send it into a black hole.
If nothing else get Ctime to confirm the bank details, if you haven’t done so already.

I have an email where i sent the details (that they originally sent me) back to them along with the payment receipt. They obviously match and I didnt get a reply saying the details were wrong.
I had tried for over a week to get them to go to the bank, they finally said on Fri that they will after I sent them the receipt again.

As mentioned above, they’ve not told me the details are wrong as I’ve sent them all the details. I will give them another day or two and then suppose open a ticket.

Did you use this website? Chazingtime08.co? This is the correct website. There’s tons of scam sites. If you used this one you’ll be fine. Definitely the amount of time it is taking would be frustrating but as long as you used the correct site it will all work out.

Yes i double checked the website so many times I’ve lost count. Thanks for the tip though.

- 21st November finally Confirmed the payment received
- Dec 4th - still no QC pics

Now 6 weeks since I sent payment with verified details.

In my original email I was told it would be around 2-3 days for QC pics after the payment is confirmed As they had the watch. But going on almost 2 weeks now where I’ve just been told to wait until the QC teams emails me.
