I made this thread because I'm a new buyer myself and I found the other threads useful in terms of timeline expectations and guidance when things go wrong. It's also to protect myself so when things go wrong I can point to this thread as evidence that I actually bought the watch. If people think this is cluttering the forum then I will delete it, but for now here are some additional updates:

4/6 Received QC for JLC, RL due to misaligned index
4/7 Received QC for Cartier. Inquired about a scratch on the bezel that was visible in both the pictures and videos. Fingers crossed it's just dust.

Thank you for moving this thread to Buyer Reviews! I agree this is the right place to have this thread, I just never knew this existed.

In any case it is now over a week since the QCs were received (12/6). I RL-ed the JLC but I don't believe Hont has ordered a new watch yet, and I asked for more pictures of the Cartier which he hasn't yet provided. My order is somewhat in limbo right now, with his replies taking 2 days on average.

13/6 Confirmed that Hont hasn't ordered a new JLC after I RLed the last one, and he still hasn't sent new pics of the Cartier. I think if the QC doesn't go well, he's too busy/annoyed to respond unfortunately. I've asked for a refund which he agreed to, and I've sent over the Paypal details. Hope it's not a long wait until he refunds me.

20/6 I've messaged Hont every weekday for a week and he's yet to refund me. On Friday he said I'd have to wait until Monday. Today's Tuesday and he said he doesn't have enough USD so he can't refund me yet. How much longer should I wait before contacting mods?

Any update, did Hont refund?
