I placed my first order for my first rep ever at Andiot.
I ordered a Omega Seamaster 300 NTTD v6 with the 8806 movement.

Communication was top. He confirmed the availability via WhatsApp quickly.
Payment instructions were absolutely easy to follow.

Now I'm waiting for QC.

I'm in the market for the NTTD too. I would love to hear what you think about your purchase when you receive it.

Cheers Frank

I received the QC pics today. Seems fine for me on a first view, but will have a closer look later today if I have more time.

Also read about the 8800 movement v the 2824.
I read some threads about the 8800 movement, also on reddit.
But I think it's to early to say anything real specific, since this movement is not available for a long time.
One downside is, that until now there is now replacement in case of major failure of the movement and there aren't any spare parts available on the market.
Let's see how the movement works and how long it will last and share the infos with the community.

Might be worth having a read of what Omega Gen Kenobi has to say about rep Omegas on reptime on Reddit.
He isn't very complimentary.
Yes, I have read about that too.
But I understand, that the major points mostly affect the "normal" reps of the seamaster.
You can clearly recognize the rep on the movement and the too small crown guards.
But the crown guards look better on the NTTD v6, since they got bigger.
The movement should not be any issue, since it's closed back without the glass on the bottom.
Nobody will see the movement if the watch is not opened.

The movement versions is slightly confusing to me.

I've seen 8800 mentoined as the new rep Omega movement for 2025.
But also a8806 as the movement in 2025 models.

So my question is...is the a8806 what they are talking about when they say 8800? Or is the 8800 and update of the a8806?

I GL the QC.
There were some minimal flaws with the index alignment, but nothing I expect someone to see during normal usage of the watch.
Rest of the watch seems totally fine for me.
