Thank you for this informative thread - it helped me as Newbie - from Germany as well by the way. One question from my side: did you talk about Li regarding the shipping method to EU/Germany? Was there a EU Warehouse in between? Or did he just "do his thing" aka you had the feeling he knows what he's doing regarding the shipping to Germany ? I'm a bit worried because our customs in Germany can be a pain sometimes..........

yes I did. I kindly noticed it that I'm living in Germany and he answered that he has lot of experience over the years now.

It was my first purchase for a high value (in my opinion) item which can be seized, but I had a lot of purchases like high end Bags, Jackets etc.. each around 100-200€ coming from china and for them i had no problems too.

I def know what you mean with custom problems, but there are 99% no problems and if so, you would get send a new watch by JTime.

There is no triangle shipping but the adress from Li will be a german one.

I could explain it detailed via PM in german about how he is avoiding customs and other questions if you want to.

I'm a Newbie when it comes to reps so I started to look into formus and reddit.

I will give you guys an intro maybe I can help some other newbies before they make some mistakes.

I never messed with reps and i never thought i would until i bought my first gen (Vintage Datejust 16223 Bicolor Black Dial).
I really liked it the first weeks but i started to get tired of it. So i started looking into some new steel Datejust Models 41mm, but i didnt want to make the same mistake by buying it and get tired of it after weeks.

I dont know how but somehow I came across highend rep videos. So I did a lot of research about it, which everyone should do because I saw a lot of threads where people got scammed because they didn't look up all the information which is given in this forum.

Long story short, i came across the seller JTime on 2. Feb 2023.

I decided to order the VSF DJ 41 MM Bluedial with the 3235 movement. On the same day i messaged Li via Whatsapp and requested the payment via Paypal.
I was aware of the CNY so i kept calm and waited for his response.

On 15. Feb he answered me and gave me all the details, i took us 1 more day to figure everything out he was very responsive and very friendly.

16. Feb Payment was made.

20. Feb I got the mail from Lana with my QC Pics/Videos via Mega Link. I was very impressed by the watch and the quality of the QC Pics so I GL'ed it.

21. Feb She asked for a quick confirmation about the shipping information which i answered instantly.

24. Feb I got the information my watch is on the way with a picture of my watch, my ordernumber and the tracking information.


So far there is no update on the tracking information but i'm aware of that is normal so no need to panic. I will keep you guys updated and send some pics when the watch arrives.

I hope I can help some other newbies with my post so they dont buy from scammers and inform themselves first about the guide (how to buy), diffrent factorys, watches, etc ....

I'm as Newbie as a Newbie can be but I'm really cautious where I spend my money.

I was looking carefully at the TD list (kind of confused as well) but your experience made me feel totally comfortable to purchase a watch with JTime. Looking forward to share my first experience here too.

Was looking at the DJ 41 mm with blue dial and oyster bracelet but looking at this video with the jubilee bracelet made the decision for me. The bracelet looks beautiful with the blue dial. Congrats on your new purchase and wear it proudly.

Thanks! For me the jubilee is a must on the datejust, glad you changed your mind you won't regret it.
The jubilee makes the watch much classier and noticeable.

Which Factory is that? The Dial Color looks a bit diffrent, but maybe its only the light conditions.

It's a VSF Datejust 41. The light conditions are very bad as I am working in the basement - and - as you know - the sun is not really shining in Germany.

Here another try with different light conditions - but still bad. I'll be outside later I hope to get better pics then.
