I'm a Newbie when it comes to reps so I started to look into formus and reddit.
I will give you guys an intro maybe I can help some other newbies before they make some mistakes.
I never messed with reps and i never thought i would until i bought my first gen (Vintage Datejust 16223 Bicolor Black Dial).
I really liked it the first weeks but i started to get tired of it. So i started looking into some new steel Datejust Models 41mm, but i didnt want to make the same mistake by buying it and get tired of it after weeks.
I dont know how but somehow I came across highend rep videos. So I did a lot of research about it, which everyone should do because I saw a lot of threads where people got scammed because they didn't look up all the information which is given in this forum.
Long story short, i came across the seller JTime on 2. Feb 2023.
I decided to order the VSF DJ 41 MM Bluedial with the 3235 movement. On the same day i messaged Li via Whatsapp and requested the payment via Paypal.
I was aware of the CNY so i kept calm and waited for his response.
On 15. Feb he answered me and gave me all the details, i took us 1 more day to figure everything out he was very responsive and very friendly.
16. Feb Payment was made.
20. Feb I got the mail from Lana with my QC Pics/Videos via Mega Link. I was very impressed by the watch and the quality of the QC Pics so I GL'ed it.
21. Feb She asked for a quick confirmation about the shipping information which i answered instantly.
24. Feb I got the information my watch is on the way with a picture of my watch, my ordernumber and the tracking information.
So far there is no update on the tracking information but i'm aware of that is normal so no need to panic. I will keep you guys updated and send some pics when the watch arrives.
I hope I can help some other newbies with my post so they dont buy from scammers and inform themselves first about the guide (how to buy), diffrent factorys, watches, etc ....
