They always have the 4401 ready for a lot of the offshore. Maybe they are working on meeting the current RO chrono demand before the offshore.

You're talking about the wrong Offshore. I'm nit talking about 43mm Offshore, I'm talking about the 2nd gen 42mm Offshore with the seconds at 6 o clock subdial.

Let´s wait for the data. I am also not really sure which models you mean. The IWC 69370 has a height of 7.9mm - same as the Valjoux 7750, which brings the same problem of too thick 42mm Offshores. APs 3126 (Secs @12) is 7,1mm, APs 2385 (Secs @6) is only 5.5mm. The newer 43mm Offshores (Secs @6) use the AP 4401 which is already cloned by APS for the 26240 Chronos.

As the 4404 is based on the 4401 my hope is, that APS will make a own "clone" for this movement later ;-)
But first of all they sure go to milk the 43mm Offshore market with their 4401

As long as there is no „good“ speedmaster rep this would be the best alternative Especially for a IWC fanboy like me …
But please with the bracelet and not only on rubber

Luckily for us the 42 OffShores share the same base movement, should be easy to get the layout for APSF.
