Hi all,

Just purchased my first Hublot Classic Fusion from Puretime. I have a question regarding the automatic SW300 mechanism - I am not wearing my watch during the night. The watch usually stops around 7 hours after I am taking it off. It doesn't really bother me as I am winding the crown in the morning, but not sure if this is a 'normal' behavior of if I am doing something wrong?

Thank you all!

Hello and WELCOME to RWI from the official reception desk!

Probably not normal. If you wear it for a full day with plenty of activity, even if starting out empty, it should last a bit longer. Do you only wear it for 3 or 4 hours or do you have a desk job though? Yeah, then 7 hours probably check out right...

You are receiving this reply because you either posted in the "new members say hi" section or due to one of your first posts elsewhere. In the latter case, consider introducing yourself in the above mentioned section.

If you haven't already, make sure to read all sticky threads in the new members area. They contain important / essential information and our forum rules! Most importantly our sales rules, because you will NOT yet be eligible / allowed to sell unless you meet certain criteria / are certified first.

A good starting point is this list of resources on RWI:

Also, take a look at this sticky once again:

We love to help, but please allow some time for PM responses as we have lifes outside of RWI!

PS: Try handwinding it until you feel / hear a click. That's a clutch kicking in preventing it from being overwound. You can't overwind any Automatic movement by design. See how long your watch lasts when unworn... If still only 7 h or not significantly more, then there's most likely something not okay with the mainspring charging mechanism and your watch needs to be looked at by a pro.
