around 3 weeks ago I decided to finally contact a TD for a rep. Kudos to these forums for the massive amount of information people can find to help jump start the entrance to the world of reps.
My choice for the first purchase was Steve @ TOW. I decided to go with a Clean Daytona 116500 - first contact was on August 29th. Watch was not in stock but Steve told me it would take around 2 weeks. A couple of days later, I was already infected with the rep virus and inquired about a Clean GMT II Pepsi V3. Watch was in stock so I decided to pull the trigger for a second time.
In addition, I ordered deep xtals for both (although in hindsight I read that for the GMT it is not really necessary anymore). Anyhow, the QC for both watches came very quick, also for the Daytona it took far less than the initially communicated 2 weeks. Crystal swap and second QC also happened very fast, so after only a few days (around a week), the watches were ready to be dispatched to Germany.
Yesterday, both watches arrived, very well packed and secured and work like a charm. First tests with the Twelve app on the phone show the GMT running at around +3 secs a day.
