Married long time and not dating, but I'll play the game... lol
The problem you'd find, is that gold-diggers don't take any chances. Time is money. So unless you start opening your wallet wide to show her a good time, and do it quickly, there'll be no joy in Rep-Town.
Also, ladies motivated in that way have a keen and suspicious eye for reps. When I was working in the jewelry business it was extremely common for beautiful young women to show up at the store with gift diamonds they'd just received to ask us to "test" them to make sure they were gen. Some even went so far as to ask our gemologist to do a full certificate on them (presumably because resale was in the pieces future). I'll guarantee you that as good as watches are these days, they'd do the same if you gave one as a gift.
All that said? I'd go with a Patek. As "bait" its a watch thats widely known so your ho... um... target need not be a horologist to appreciate it. And be sure (this is the clincher) to treat that rep Patek like you don't care how much it cost. Because props are one thing, but what you do with them tells the story she wants to hear.
BTW, with your mind on this sort of thing, you might appreciate the movie - Priceless -a French romantic comedy with Audrey Tautou and Gad Elmaleh as a gold digger and a gigolo. Quite good - and there are watches in it!

Rolex would be a safe bet (I doubt if anyone would know what AP is...heck even I didn't know for such a long time lol) but a blingy gold breitling (despite not being as costly) always steals the show

Oh, they know. For a gold digger? Its their JOB to know. Be mindful their goal is an early and luxurious retirement. You only get there if you know your stuff.

Well you better get that TC Sub v7 Extreme out of the box in that case.
A true gold digger has to know her stuff- watches included. That's their job. They 100% know high end watch brands. Watch, Shoes, Belt- prob in that order. What else do mean wear beside their outfit.
I would go big AR ROO so she don't miss it, Ferragamos and the Hermes belt. I liv in Manhattan so they're all over. Their mission, get money, my mission is a little different.

Haha... I have a gen Sub (and when my wife and I were right out of college I was working at an AD and also had an early Daytona, a Datejust and a GMT). I knew I had the right girl when she insisted I get her a cubic Z for an engagement ring because she thought diamonds were the wrong thing to spend on at the point in our lives. Years later I got her a gen Datejust and she got mad with *me* after she dropped it and cracked the crystal - because she hated my giving her something she had to feel responsible for ("like a puppy"). She happily wears reps now (and keeps her Datejust in the safe)

Op should run srs. Playing with gold diggers is stupid and highly dangerous. Most of them are not just spoiled and greedy - some are actually outright sociopaths. These people are one the reasons doors with locks and marriage contracts were invented.
Personally tried Patek Philippe and Rolex DJii in my dates with gold diggers.
In 99% they would notice Rolex in split of blink but hardly any of them notice your $30k Patek.
So based on personal experience I would say go with Rolex.[emoji6][emoji106]

IMO a gold-digger on the arm is like a rep girlfriend.
That said, theres a fine line to all this. Even the best of gen girlfriends aren't above faking haircolor or faking boobs, and faking the genetics for straight teeth, not to mention faking orgasms, etc etc
If all you're faking is a watch, they're getting off easy.
Maybe this question is beyond my abilities lol
