When asking Elliot if payment have been received (Revolut), I have a response saying "we will check". I asked 3 times already (last time 3 days ago), always with answer "we will check", not yes or no (I paid in HKD as per request). The payment was done more than a week ago.
I noticed some people on here having QC a few days only after payment, which I guess takes more time than confirmation of payment received.
I am corresponding with email [email protected] and Telegram @ElliotBlack2012
Is this normal? Maybe I used a wrong email/telegram account?

Strange, I also used Revolut but the confirmation came just a few minutes later, while I was talking to him on Telegram. Have you checked on the website?

On the website it says "pending payment" and it is not green nor red status.

On Revolut, they have an automated system that flags certain transactions based on the accounts and behaviour. These transactions get put on hold and are either routed through an additional verification process or reviewed manually. It takes time — in my case, it was around two days when I transferred to someone I had no previous interaction with (a TD, in this case).

This is part of their standard anti-money laundering and fraud prevention procedure. Your money’s safe. So chill and wait it out.

My concern is not really with Revolut but with Andiot who doesn't tell me if he received the money or not, just that they will check (without saying "no" we haven't received it). As well I had checks/delays with Revolut in the past, but it usually takes a day or two, not more than a week like here.

He’s a trusted dealer here. Many of us have been doing business with him for a long time, and no one’s ever lost money this way. So just keep calm and wait.

While I have every confidence he’s not a scammer, are you absolutely sure you used the contact info listed here on RWI to reach him? If yes, then you really have nothing to worry about.

Yes, that is my main concern, maybe I used the wrong contact detail or got scammed somehow, especially Telegram.

Glad it worked out, and as per the responses, andiot seems to be working on high volume low mark up sales and they sort of contact you when they need to more than when you feel they should- it’s not just you, it’s everyone. Some people say it isn’t the best style for a noob and that paying a little more and having more responses is the better system but that has to be up to you of course. Welcome to the andiot club!

I have ordered two watches from Elliot. From what I've gathered, if a watch is not in the 'On Hand Stock' pictures, it can take up to a few weeks before the QC.

On my first order, I ordered a Sea Dweller, and after paying and a little over a weeks of no status change I started getting nervous. I noticed they had Submariners in stock at a similar price, asked Elliot if I could swap for one, and he gladly agreed. A couple days later I received the QC notice and, within about two weeks I had the Submariner on my wrist. For me, the quality was well worth the wait.

FYI. I've reached out to Elliot exclusively via email and have always received a permit reply.
