Basically puretime has told me they can source the bracelet for 138 usd.
I clearly told them that other dealers claim that ZF doesnt want to sell only the bracelet and they said that generally dealers dont want to deal with sourcing parts, and that if ZF told them the price for the bracelet means it is up for sale.
So i placed the order with them, they told it will take some weeks to get to it but i have no hurry....

I'd be weary about selling an older ZF watch head. The older ones definitely had better crystals than the recent ones..

You're right. Especially this one. It's perfectly aligned and finished in every way, movement running perfect and so on. A true keeper.
What bugs me, is that I am in the middle of an order and also buying some other bracelets (GF, ARF). Only the ZF bracelet seems to be a problem. I really would like to know what's going on here...

Wait, so the first run of ZF BPFF are better than the later run? I have a noob V1 on gen sailcloth and deployant, but always wanted a bracelet. Would consider buying the entire ZF watch + bracelet as long as it's as good (if not better) than the noob V1.

Ive had both the ZF and Noob v1...I think a good qc'd ZF is far better than a noob v1. The newer iterations of the ZF Fifty Fathoms definitely has different crystals throughout their production period. My fifty fathoms that was obtain during first release has a more distinct purple hue, my second fifty fathoms no radiation, still has the purple hue but not as defined..

bezel clicks can be fixed, is a little luck i guess because the black one i have has worse bezel action than the blue from the same maker

I can’t see any flaw in Dial , ZF side by side with Gen .

How does the ZF feel or present itself, if you were handed a gen and a ZF could you tell the difference?
For example I have a Panerai 382 VSF, and I now that I could tell the difference 100% of the time.
