Feeler for new FGD dial run

Please do some 202a dials as well.

I will take 201a and 202a dials. If its possible to make a couple 202's out of what were meant to be 201's then ill happily pay more to have it done, whatever the cost.

I really hope this happens!

PS: id take 3 or 4 of each dial.

I assume you are talking about the Steph_Dexter dials. That guy is doing amazing work.

His dials are the next level in Pre-v. Seriously close to gen.

Is it? I just swung over to rwg and noticed the logo above the 6 was really bold compared to the fgd logo. Which one is closer to gen?

I also noticed a few people saying the font was off on an early prototype. (the Stephen Dexter one) Was that fixed?

In my point of view, the Steph_Dexter boldness of the font is far more accurate to gen. Cruise over to www.9maiali.com for some seriously hi-res images. The font does have a bit too much serif, but in my opinion too much serif, is better than the FGD, which has NO serif.

It's become a fashion nowadays to knock the FGD dials for lacking serifs.

If you look at a selection of gen PreV dial pics, you'd actually be hard-pressed to see serifs with the naked eye, or even in macros.

I've signed up for the SD 201/a run, but FGD dials are still the standard and will remain so for quite some time. Hoard them while you can. FGD is moving on to other projects.

Don't mistake my comment. FGD is brilliant...so brilliant that I have spent quite a bit on 4 FGDs and already built 3 of them. They make for an amazing build.

I'm just saying that if you want the highest level of accuracy... then you want serifs. SD dials show the promise to be the next level of gen like Pre-V dials. He wont be the standard until the finished product is received and reviewed, but again, there seems to be a lot of promise.
