Meh, all you old timers and your Old Spices and Paco Rabanne.

I concur Joe. I got my bottle of Lacoste in the other day. It is definitely my favorite scent by far. Maybe I wont end up the same fate as you and have it 86'd by the significant other :(.

Dolce & Gabanna makes the ladies melt like butta :) Been wearing it for a couple years now.

Prior to that, I was on Davidoff Coolwater

You know what I loved but the cologne Gods discontinued it? Donna Karen Unleaded. Man that stuff smelled great. Current fave is Calvin Klein Euphoria.

MontBlanc has a fragrance out now too, that smells great. Might have to invest in some.

For me, it's no contest. Royall Bay Rhum wins hands down. I will say this about it, it doesn't overpower. Quite the contrary, 15-20 min after you put it on, you're lady will have to get close to smell it. That's more my style anyway. I don't like to be one of those guys that walks into the room and suddenly have everybody able to smell my cologne. It might also be worth a try for others who have posted mentioning they can't get away with a cologne because of their job.

Here's a link to their site: hxxp://www.royalllymebermuda.com/

They make a couple of other scents. I love the Lyme as well. Like Bay Rhum, it doesn't overpower. I wouldn't recommend the Mandarin or Spyce.

Issey Miyake is my number one scent for the last few years.

This thread reminds me of a friend back in college who practically had women lined up at his door waiting to jump in bed with him. His cologne of choice was Bay Rhum.

After I had graduated and started out in the work world I happened upon Bay Rhum at a clothing retailer, and picked up a bottle. But the first time I wore it to work a coworker sniffed the air, and said:

"Do I smell fruitcake?"

That was the last time I wore Bay Rhum cologne!
Funny. On a lark I tried Issey M... You sure it wasn't Christmas at the office?

All good scents....however......

the natural aroma that leaks from my skin is enough to sooooooth the savage beast.

...and when that doesn't work....I like Polo Blue

:D

I smell like smoke when I wear Coolwater, something about my body chemistry. I was wearing it and one of my friends said: "I didn't know you smoked." True story.

Clinique Happy at the moment. I might switch to Lacoste or Burberry Brit from the sounds of it.
