Okay I'm keeping an eye on the bay - seeing a LOT of fakes recently... please post the ones you find here ;)

December 2010:

260709767478 - stock photos, lug screws are wrong. 1/50... really?
140491944089 - Standard dealer rep, ticks on the dial incorrect where screws are, date-font is off, back is incorrect (poor quality) and doesn't show serial.
280605773952 - stock photos, lug screws are wrong - pictures the same from 260709767478! Chrono pushers??
160520942993 - stock photos, even watermarked from a different source!
180601615553 - seriously??
300506867684 - sunken DW = a7750 ;) GONE
320632339654 - wow.... worst fake ever.

What do you feel about people selling reps on the bay? I can't see as problem so long as they are not claiming they are genuine.

I don't care about reps being sold on eBay... as long as they are not trying to pass them off as gens and get gen prices for them.

I do have a problem with people passing reps off a gen. or people who mislead, trick etc.... If you state it's a rep then fine but otherwise I cannot stand it.

Yes, I agree pretty shitty thing to do. To be honest I would not dream of paying that much cash across the net. I bought a gen Panerai Daylight a couple of years ago, could have saved a couple of hundred quid via e bay but I think the extra was worth the piece of mind going into a dealers.
