Fake watch buster (Very informative video)

Guy says he got a "perfect" Sub and noticed 6 was off. Then he started questioning it and had to get watchmaker to take apart to figure out. Had a clone movt' and 2 jewelers had to look at it to realize it was fake. So this sounds like a Noob V5 that was nearly indistinguishable.

These guys can spot Canal Street reps but not the ones members here own. In the end, I could care less if these 2 guys know whats real and fake.

I sort of agree. The ones most worth buying are those you cannot rep, and most high-end watches can't be repped. Ones with a unique movement that is. For example the 15400 is a simple watch. But there are always big flaws with the reps. The case is too thick on the new 3120 clone rep, the hour markers are wrong, the bezel screws aren't flat. So IMO it's worth getting a gen RO. The best reps are the ones that even seasoned ADs can't spot, and those are most often Frankens.

So these are the lengths one has to go to to own an un reppable watch …..This one won't be repped soon….quite unique ...

the guy said it right. Genuine APs are beautiful but troublesome. Maintenance is $$$.
If you have the money, you dont care. Just send your assistant to get you a newer one.
