Hey CJ, the only person that would know to steal your alias is a replica forum member and it seems they can't use their own identity to tip off the Paneristi ... I guess I am saying, don't hold your breath waiting on them to fess up here. :roll:
As well re: the further comments of details; this doesn't help repWorld to teach the scammer and Paneristi what to look for in visual tells. All it does is make them more aware. You can't prevent this, but I don't understand helping with it ...
If you'll notice the fakeCJ poster simply called the watch a fake, that was actually the best way to do it. The response by the guy was an immediate excuse and backsliding. The guy didn't even get defensive or angry? He knew it to be what it was and started making excuses from the start ... there was no need to say WHY it was a fake, the owner confirmed it by his immediate response.
And no-one has mentioned that the Chopard, which is the main subject of the thread is also a replica ...
