LOL. NO it isn't. lol. Ravi, if I stuck to that rule. I would be wearing walmart watches. I'm serious. I buy whatever I like, because I know I will never afford a gen of anything probably. I buy them because I love them, and that's it. and knowing I can have the watches that I love, well,,,,,,almost since they are reps, but it's just an awesome feeling to know that I can buy any watch I want even if it's a few hundo thousand dolla patek, I don't buy mine to trick people. I thiink the point here is that this guy is a blatant liar and he obviously picked the wrong watch to be fackiing with us about or anybody that knows anything about this watch, and now he's caught. I myself do not call peoople out if I see them on the street ever. I compliment people on their watches. but If someone is blatantly lying to me and I would know it was a fake, I would bust their balls like this guy needs. So why not call it out on here and get people's opinions? that guy probably isn't on this forum anyway. and maybe it would be good for him to see this thread to show him that people know that it's impossible for him to have the gen of that watch.
I did not call him out. Read my previous posts. I PM'd him which means private message. I kept going back and fourth with him privately. And he is not a member on this forum. He would know better if he was.
I have up on him. Last he said he was going to go back to the dealer and get more info. Figure I would just leave it alone now and move on.

I'm sure he knows. There's no way in 2014 that someone making a purchase of any magnitude does not use the internet for some research.
As for the Cartier bracelets, some men do wear them - I believe the white gold is unisex. In either case, the OP has stated that this friend is gay and he owns a salon. Cartier bracelets are a perfect fit!

Maybe he got set up and really has no clue. And that person's life is complicated enough - I'd rather savour the knowledge and be careful about him in the future.
Agree on the "having been set up" thing, it coming with box and all. With swiss movement and triangle it goes for $513 http://intime.co/product.php?id_product=1273, not cheap either, if he paid $1200 on a "very special deal" he might well believe its gen as he obviously isn´t into watches and reading about them, not even after buying it.
