you're wrong. Look at the initial comparison pics in page 1 and you'll see that also the Rolex word was different between the two dial. The gen is bolder and they also fixed this on this dial. They fixed all 2 things.
To me now is perfect...

Ive noticed the serial at 6 is very close together. I saw a bk that was spaced correctly and it became very noticeable. Wouldn’t stop me from buying but that and the numbers being a bit thin are the only tells. Super rep for sure

Number 3 middle curves inward too much on the right side...all indicies are said to be little thin...
but that number 3 is same style as the older explorer from the 1980s, so it is technically genuine design, just on the wrong ref.

damn, they updated the dial print!? if the numers 3, 6, 9 weren't so thin still i would get one regardless of the spacing of the serial, i have the E XPLORE R and I love it so much I would get a second one if the issue was fixed.

I'm glad that I don't see it and I'm not even going to look into it and see what the deal is. I'm sick and tired of my own nitpicking and that awful feeling I get in my gut everytime I look at the watch and the only thing I see is some minute idiotic flaw. And I always end up selling it because of that flaw, because it's eating me inside. I think it's perfect now.

I think you're safe with this one. Unless you wear it to some sort of Rolex geek/nitpicker convention.. 99.9% of Rolex owners I know are not even aware of "flaws" of any kind, let alone such minute ones. No one walks around with a loupe just to see if numerals on your watch are thick enough.

And think that with the “old” dial you covered the 99.0% of Rolex owners

now this watch is not only NWBG but also a Super Rep in my opinion.
