Just curious. Have you ever joined an online gen watch community and maybe slipped in one picture of a rep amongst your other gens? How did it go?

Yeah , dont do that
I see you're a staff member and super moderator. Apologies if this isn't the right thing to be asking, was just shooting the breeze. I've read the rules when I joined awhile back but this may have slipped my mind. I've already asked another moderator to take down this post if it violates any regulations. Again, my apologies.

I understand and apologies all around. Thank you for the explanation, understanding and leniency. I've read the rules long ago and the one thing that really stuck was never to post "what is the best rep for...." Totally forgot the other regulations. Lessons learned.

@clk168 as you’ve quickly gathered, posting pics of reps on gen forums is a no-no, as is wearing a rep when visiting an AD. It’s considered extremely disrespectful behaviour.

The inescapable fact is that we’re all engaged in buying, owning, and trading illegal counterfeit goods. Deliberately parading said goods under the noses of gen owners and/or dealers is… bad form.

Yes, mentally bonking my head right now. I sometimes see posts on this forum where members say they wore a rep to an AD, something I'd never do. I've never posted a rep on a gen forum, hence my curiosity if anyone else has. I got my answer and I do appreciate the dose of reality.

Call me crazy, but that thought never crossed my mind once, as every gen forum has an explicit policy against replica content. I would do it if there were a gen forum that has a rep section, but such a forum doesn't exist AFAIK.

The mere mention of reps on TRF will get you insta-banned, so yeah it's really clear (and understandable) that reps are a no-go area.
