Soccer/Futbol/Football is all about movement... it's a game of inches... it requires a perfection of both the individual player and the team as a whole... there can be a play down that moves down the field but if the squad is not in sync, you will see many plays ending in offsides... it's that beauty when teammates are reacting together that draws fans like me in...
I watch very little Premier League football as I do not like the flow of the game that their ties lend themselves too... that's why when I see Ronaldinho or Kaka being talked about transferring there it makes me laugh... Liga, the Spanish top league, is more my style... my favorite team is Barcelona and their style is more fluid passing and beautiful movements...
Two seasons ago, Real Madrid won the league but the coach was fired... why? because the upper management did not feel the team had enough style and movement to suit the fans... funny isn't it?
In American football, you can have an ugly team like the Baltimore Ravens win a Super Bowl with a horrendous QB like Dilfer and it's a big deal.. in futbol, winning is not enough... you must win with style and beauty or else you're toast....
