I don't know quite how you figure that out. Granted, England have yet to impress.

Is the group stage not about gaining more points than your rivals? The two teams with the most points go through? Both England and Italy have done that numbnuts, so how can you say neither deserve to be in the QF's?

Both teams have done exactly what they had to do.

Whether you do that playing ugly or attractive football is a different matter. Like I said, England haven't looked spectacular so far but they've defended resolutely and have put the ball in the net when it matters.

That's all that counts!

Italy will be hard to break down, it's 50/50 as far as I'm concerned. I'm feeling nervous as hell already......it's hard work being an England fan.
