A few days ago I acquired this - well - beautiful Batgirl from my old friend @g-yice through permanent lowballing . I paid 40 North Korean won, which is something around seven cents. Now that's what I got! Now I have a watch I didn't even want, but I can't sell it for a halfway decent price either, because otherwise - quite rightly! - I would be banned forever by the attentive RWI mods for merciless profiteering.
So @g-yice and I have agreed that I will post the watch here at his old asking price as a C&R and the proceeds from the sale will be donated to RWI. Our loss is RWI's gain. Note to self - never lowball! never!
About the watch: The watch is a AAA, but one of the better AAAs. In fact, it is probably one of the last surviving legendary SCG AAA+ models with a 1:1 Swiss movement by Tony von Noob, for which some specialist dealers sometimes charge over 1000 euros. But I don't guarantee that ;-)
What I can say: The watch runs and apparently has a 2813 movement. The bezel can be adjusted on both sides. The date works, but the GMT time is only a second hour hand. The link on the bracelet appears to be screwed. All in all, this is one of the better AAAs.
For members with a smaller budget or people who simply want to test whether they like the color combination on their own arm, this is certainly a good choice. Also good as a gift for the boss or brother-in-law! In any case, you are doing something good with your purchase, as all the money goes to RWI. I pay the postage out of my own pocket ... so please no buyers from Tahiti or from the Norwegian Antarctic expedition.
