Sometimes it comes that way from the factory, remember the first batch of 4th gen PO with omega logo too close to the text? Over time, they do improve it. Now the logo placement is much better. Please remember that changing dial is not an easy task. The dealers may have received the watch as it is from the factory.

I realize that Tak, and I know that J&A don't even handle the watches they sell. What I'm wondering is why its only the POs that seem to have these wonky marker issues? You never see a navi or a datejust with markers like that. I've never removed a PO dial but I assume that there is alignment holes on the dial to ensure proper placement, so its likely just sloppy assembly. But why just the POs?

andreww I think you're right...just sloppy assembly. I finally got tired of seeing the misaligned markers on

my 007 so I had to take marker off and cut one of the little feet off then reglue it...once the holes are

drilled crooked from the factory then no chance of getting it straight..

well josh told me that it was a minor flaw and that would cost money for him ordering a new dial and shipping, well this is just a little bit thing no problem i wont die :)

so let me understand this correctly. he says it is a minor flaw (in his opinion) and it will cost him money so you have to live with it? i would send the watch back if it were mine. the 9 O'Clock marker isn't striate either. i don't understand how he charges as much as he does and keeps his customer base.

That marker isn't just a little crooked...dunno if I could live with it. Depending on how it's attached to the dial, it could be a pretty easy fix, especially for a watchsmith.

Probably would be an easy fix, but what happens if you pull off the marker and it peels up a chunk of black paint with it? It's always a risk when you try and repair these things because you can't get parts if things go badly.

i would send the watch back to him and have him repair and or replace it. once you have somebody work on it he isn't responsible for it anymore. if something else happens to it he will just say it is your or whom ever you had work on it fault.

if you have a watch repairman you trust, get a dail, other wise send it back. thats what i would do unless you were going to have it serviced and super lumed, then i would get a good dial and send it to your favorite modder to do their thing.

well this was the response first told me if i order 2 more watches he'll offer me the dial and then i've asked him how much would it be the dial alone and that was the answer, as i told in the last post, buying from this person never more, i prefer buy to another dealer like ruby that's less expensive and by the feedback his service is far away better from this guy.

pedo: I am willing to give my rep dial for you. But it comes with white numerals. I am upgrading to genuine dial. It's is on order and won't be here anytime soon. Seems that you are left with limited choice. Either pay for the dial or post on WTB section. I know some members upgraded to genuine dial so they may have spare.

Gen dial will cost you 196 USD. It is expensive but you'll get genuine quality. No crooked marker to worry.
