low beat 11.5 ligne has the ETA/swtch 2842. looks identical to 2824 with date function.
- difference i can see no holes for dial feet.

question for the modders and people making low beat divers. if i source this movement. would you suggest:
[1] remove dial feet then use stickers,
[2] transfer all the parts to A2824 plate.

Why not source an ETA 2846 low beat movement?
It has than 21.600 A/h and is for older models than also period correct. Advantage of 2846, you can also add a GMT function if needed for an old GMT build (for a 1675 than for example also period correct and correct handstack)

I dont know what this build is for, but why not look for a 2824 Powermatic movement? It's lowbeat already and has 80h power reserve. I've only heard great things about these gen movements

i fail to mention this is use for diver low beat conversion.
@Nur-Uhr 2846 can also be good option.
@nipe powermatic donor prices keep climbing. use 284x and add service still work out cheaper.

The link above shows an ETA2824 from intime. Does anybody know if this is a better choice than the miyota? I'm looking at using the watch without modding initially, but maybe after a few months converting it to low beat and swapping out the DW.
Gen likeness isn't the top priority for me initially, just want something that is good quality that'll last, and also something that can be modded into low beat and do the DW swap later on.
