Hey everyone, I’m Jon – new member (UK),
Been into watches for quite a while now with my collecting (or obsession..) kicking off back in 2016 with adding my first Tag F1.
For a while I only had gen Swiss but then Lockdown sent me spiralling down the AliExpress/homage rabbit hole.
Pagani’s, San Martin’s, and a bunch of others… ended up with something like 37 watches at one point
Added a number of Micro-brands too. Ended up I was chasing the ‘in-coming’ more than the actual watch in all honesty lol.
Since then it’s been a bit of an up and down journey, picked up and flipped more watches than I care to admit!
Dialed it all back over the last 18 months and now have a steady 10 watch collection and feeling better about watches in general again
Anyhoos, a friend recently showed me a pic of his new VSF 126610LN and was blown away by it, so decided to see what all the fuss was about.
So got myself signed up and somehow immediately ended up making a deal on the sales page with one of the forums well established members
So first incoming is a VSF Sub 114060. (thank you for selling to me and cheers for the chat, advice and warm welcome!).
My first proper dip into high-end reps and looking forward to getting hands on… though I’m also slightly worried I’ve just discovered an entire new rabbit hole
Oh, and also pulled the trigger on an ARF Bruce Wayne from Andiot yesterday, can’t wait to see it in person.
I am more of a browser than a poster, but do love a good wrist shot pic (assuming gen is ok too?)
I am making my way through the stickies and guides etc. Will arrange to certify/support also, so I can join in the with the buying and selling as I get more involved.
Looking forward to chatting more and learning as I go, the banter looks good here too!
