Alright! I started a gen collector. Tested the dark side to try some new makes, got hooked and you know the drill. Started with pams and rollies, then AP, but I swore off Hublot... And now... You guessed it. I want to give one a go. Lots of good info here so I'm not here to start a blind thread. I have narrowed it down to 3 for my first dance...

I bought from Ryan the Big Bang V6 Factory Rose Ceramic Bezel RG Case on Rubber Strap about 3 months ago. It is a very nice watch and hard to tell that is a rep. Gold plate is very good although I do not wear it everyday. Good luck.

I like Hublots but the clasp is unbearable for me. It digs into my wrist and I end up wanting to throw the watch out the window. I even tried on a GEN, and it felt just as uncomfortable. I know other have had the same issue. Hopefully you don't encounter the same problem.

Yeah some have that issue....

Btw:
Do you really like that bracelet on SS though?
It comes on the same rubber strap as RG, look a few pages back on intime.
Id change out the strap anyway though!

For now, I pulled the trigger on the v6 RG ceramic. Just got (and approved) QC...

Can't wait to get it!

I really love the mixture of all the materials on the Hublots, and i think you will too....
The metal, ceramic bezel, detailed dial, great AR, and very cool textured numerals (you will see when you get it - they have a cut and almost look layered, reflect light great as well.)

I never thought I'd be getting one, but was hanging out with friends at a party and there was a dude who was sporting a gen hbb ss ceramic and I was admiring it and he was admiring my ap FC diver (v3). He was so thrilled to see it, I just didn't have the heart to tell him it was a rep but he asked to try it on and I tried his hbb and was impressed. And saying that i was trying on accessories with a dude out loud sounds gayer than it actually was. Haha!

and yes! I will definitely do a review!

Sheriff, that's a great rep! Here is my Gen of the same watch. The factory did an unbelievable job on this one. The tells are so small that I don't think even a Hublot dealer would know the difference unless you handed it to them.

The SS/Ceramic is a rep.

Actually, this was at a party in SoCal where I do a lot of stuff, and it was a non-Spanish gentleman ;-)
