Easy swap a2836 -> SW220 ?

Hi

Is it an easy swap to pass from a a2836 to a gen sw220 ?

For High end gen i'm thinking to do it, but i would like to be sure before to buy a gen sw220 at cousinsuk or ofrei
do you know where we can find them with the different grade ? on these website and ebay there is only one choice (I think it must be the first grade)

Yeah mate here another supporter who is searching around if this can be done 1 on 1 and my concerns are the bloody hands, will they fit from Asian movement to the SW220??

The sw220 is a Swiss made "clone" of the 2836, they are compatible. Sellita was a parts supplier for ETA before they began producing the SW line. See below for the specs from Otto Frei and a good place source it from.

Wow, he's just told you the SW220 is a clone of the ETA 2836, the Asian 2836 is a clone of the ETA 2836. Hands will fit on all three movements - cuz they're clones . . .

Look at the hand sizes listed on Otto frei. They are the same size so yes, the hands are interchangeable.

I had some issues lately with second hand bp not fitting my noob v6s 2836-2 so iam a bit concerned if the rep hands are made with exact specs?

The faults are invariably with the hands - low quality = poor tolerances. If its too loose, pinch the tube slightly to reduce diameter, if it's too tight, broach it out very gently - .10 of a millimeter +/- is enough to give problems.
