DVN 177H, just arrived... a bit confused.

Hey guys,

I ordered 111h and 177h from DVN... and I got some questions about the 177h....

It looks like the glass is raised, more than the 111h... it looks like it is about to pop out, is this normal? Shouldnt the glass be more flushed like the 111h? Also the crown on the 177h is sitting higher up compared to the 111h... ie, if you look at the crown on the bottom , you can barely touch it...


Did I get a lemon?

After careful observation, my 111H looks USED. Minor scratches on the AR, and small nicks on the bezel as well.

I am not satisfied with these watches at ALL.

Yeah. I can see that. The last time I ordered my PAM005, he DVN gave me a poorly-done lume.... I have to redo it all over myself

Question is what do i do? How do i fix this bloated glass? Do i have to send this back?

From the pictures it looks like your also missing the straps :shock:

Why dont you try sending DVN an email first?

not an expert btw. i took out my 176 (fully modded) to compare and that crystal of yours (though it is a 177 but I'm still thinking roughly should be the same as mine) really needs work (e.g. it seems to lack finish on the edges)

I dont think this is a matter of re-finishing the edges, the crystal looks fat compared to the111h correct me if i am wrong but isnt 111h and 177h the same case?

Same case, not sure. Same size 44mm yes..

I emailed David and he told me all the 177H glass are like this. Can any someone confirm this?

just ran up to my bedroom - only to check for you - i put my favorite porno on pause !! -

so, i compared my 111 - 112 - and my 176 Ti Base......and really....the crystal of the Ti 176 is raised.....the steel versions are flush.

everybody knows i like DVSN's watches - but i would not lie for him. truth is truth.

now back to the important things in life ....... PORNOSHOW !!

Was this done on purpose? Also is your crown on 176 centered? Mine seems to sit high. I still dont get why he would send me a used watch. I dont think i will buy any more pam watches from David anymore. I don't believe he QCs any of the watches that goes out.
