Has anyone seen a Gen DSSD with a two tone bracelet?. A friend brought one back from Thailand and it looks to be a pretty good rep only i've never seen one without the plain silver bracelet.

Hey mate, try posting your threads in only one forum.

As for your question, the gen has only ever and will likely only ever be produced in stainless steel. It may or may not be possible to find such a rep, but the gen is certainly not to be found.

From browsing the gen Rolex forums it seems modding is a popular thing to do. Going as far as a two tone wouldn't be out of the question. That way they could congratulate themselves a bit more on their watches.....

In order for a 2 tone DSSD to work, gold should be on the outer bezel and the bezel numbers like a Sub, imo ..

Swapping in a tt bracelet isn't a problem, and heavy plating the bezel can be easily done as well. Filling in the insert's markers and numbers with gold enamel would be tedious, but certainly doable. I had my TW bezel plated for my tt Sub conversion. That's the hardest part to get right. Also to do it right you'd need to swap in gold dial markers and hands.

I agree with BMW, however a a little color choice on the ceramic bezel and color matched dial would be nice. There are a number of cool looking dive watches out there like that .:...
