Hello guys,

I noticed that my DSSD has been gaining around 10 seconds daily,

I went to google about it and noticed that if i lay the flat with the crown facing down, it will lose seconds,

Tried it but it didn't work =\

anyone facing the same problem as me ?

I don't think 10 sec a day is a big deal.

There are threads on how to try and adjust the time if you really want to try and dial it in better.

Problem? Your kidding right?

Sorry but I had to say something. Maybe mechanical watches are not for you.

10 secs is not bad at all. There are tutorials on how to regulate if you feel it' s necessary.

I spouted off earlier and I'm sorry for the way it sounded.

10 secs is nothing. I've had Gen Breitling "chronometers" at more than a minute a day. That for a replica is frankly stellar.

What movement do you have in there? You'd have to check the specs on the movement, but that could be well within spec for that particular movement.

My gen ETA 2846 was +16 seconds per day and that was within normal operating specs for that movement. It started gaining 4-5 minutes a day, so I sent it to one of the watchsmiths here on the board and he got it down to within a few seconds. Had it not gotten out of control, however, it would have been just fine at +16.

10 seconds is perfectly acceptable. Heck, the official Swiss chronometer certification is -4 to +6 seconds per day.

thanks for the advice guys,

will rough handling while wearing the DSSD mess up the +/- of seconds ?
eg, sudden knock on the railing while walking down the stairs, or playing badminton and such.

knock on the railing probably won't make a huge difference, but playing badminton/golf or anything like that may not be so clever...even with a gen automatic.

+10 isn't too bad. if it gets worse send it for a service.

Your question was a good question.
Quickie question for you from me ... how much did you pay for your Replica time piece?
I have 10 Mechanical/Automatics.. Once in a while just for fun I'll check to see how close they keep GMT. Remember I used the word "fun."
Reps are for fun. A few seconds a day is awesome for a Rep.

Keep an eye on it just for "fun."

My just serviced Omega PO is at around +/-5 per day... my others are at +/- 7-10 secs per day, which is normal.

Try living with three minutes
:picard:

Even that isn't a big deal to me. I have a watch that is off 5 minutes in a 24 hour period but the longest I wear it is 5 hours so its only off by a minute by the time I take it off :)

At ten seconds a day ought to put it up for sell
Post some pics....I bet someone here give 20% maybe 30% of purchase price for that watch
