Yeah since I posted that I noticed (over on RWG) you had a list of things you wanted him to address. But as I mentioned in my post over there, all those issues come standard in Rep territory. Unfortunately even with the higher dollar Davidsen reps there are still quite a few flaws, but hey that's why his is 450.00 instead of 15,000 :wink:

I understand but the old adage always holds true, you get what you pay for. These are relatively cheap Chinese copies of expensive Swiss watches, so I've learned don't expect too much, that way if it's better than expected your pleasantly surprised.

I always tease him because he takes this, and other attitudes in life which I find morbidly pessimistic. He says he's not a pessimist. He's a realist.

Perhaps your way is the way to go, MK08. I'll give you that, because whenever I've had bad expectations about something, I've rarely failed to walk away anything but happy (because they usually were exceeded).

But man, what a way to live! Not for me, alas.

It's really nice and I didn't pick that "defect" up without prompting. surprising... i would send back to DSN, unless he could send me a corrected bridge piece and have my own watchmaker install it...

Oops, thanks to the other DSN Fiddy poster today for reminding me of unfinished biness here.

Davidsen is trying his darndest to work with me, so I'm very thankful to him.
