Just got my BPFF this past weekend. I already replaced the cracked crystal, extra one DSN sent me. Greased up the seals, oil the jewels i could get to from the back, and pressure tested to 3atm. I love this watch. I have a 22mm canvas Nato on order, all i had was a 20mm. Once the new wears off Im going to slightly age the dial.

Amazing watch Rick. Wear it well.

It's still in my top 3 to purchase.

I got a FF02 from DSN, the plexi came cracked, so i sent for another crystal, he sent me two, the first one i replaced cracked IMMEDIATELY, i'm on to the third plexi as we speak, that is one weak crystal!
Its kinda assuring (?) to see others are experiencing the same problem.

I am thinking about buying this watch for a few weeks now since i have seen it at dsn - i'm a bit afraid of the 42 mm but this is such a beauty ... thanks for the pic with the pam to compare ..

Update: the third plexi just cracked.
You would think i was doing something to the watch, but i barely wear it.
What a pile of junk!

The tiny dial doesn't do it for me. Looks like the hole of a donut.

Still, it is a beautiful watch. A 47mm big dial version would be perfect.

Nice going, tmr! Would you have the dimensions necessary for replacing the DSN crystal? I've been lucky with mine so far, but I'd like to look find a nicer-looking -and more reliable- dome.

I'd say it's 28.3 mm If you keep the original gasket.

The caseback gasket dimensions are 30 mm diameter, 0.7 mm thickness for those interested.

I may just sell my seiko diver to get one of these. The water resistance is still an issue for me.
