Have you done this yourself before? Realistically is this achievable at home with the proper tools? Or would I be best sending it off to have it done?

Yes I have. Anything’s possible with the proper tools. The question is are you confident you have the skills to do it? If you’re not 100% confident, send it off to someone like Tickleshoes, it will save you a destroyed case.

Hello I have the same problem. I am trying to install a Daytona tube 24.7030.0 and i have issues with the tap size.
i tried the 3x0.35 tap that most of the people propose and the gen tube screw for 2 or three times and then stops. I also try a generic gen spec tube and i have the same issue.

Do you know where to find the 3.05x0.30 tap for the installation? Or there is other type of rolex 7 mm tube that has 3x0.35 thread size and i can use with the 703 crown?
