Let’s talk for a minute about deepcrystal dot net’s newest DOUBLE PLATINUM PLATED DJ41 bezels.

For starters I’m no stranger to ordering from the proprietor of the site. I’ve placed a slew of orders now, all received in literal days (2?).

We all know Patrick Xing’s crystals, but this is something different.

Double platinum plated bezels?!?
The bezels are indeed the real deal. The price is right, the look is basically perfection, and the finish is superior. I’m usually on the fence for this kind of minor improvement, but after seeing it in person, I get it now.

In an effort to capture the smooth, black polish of the facets, and the bright sharp reflection of colors, I tried to capture this in almost every light in my home (yes I ran through the house with my hand in front of me like an egg balancing or plate spinning weirdo. I’ll own that)

So here is the bezel, I’m posting in as many lights and angles as I could get.

Yes I have more, and will get more.

A platinum plated bezel won't look like the gen whitegold one. You could just as well keep the VSF/Clean bezel.

Searching the internet for a comparison of rings is not an accurate depiction of what’s happening in real life, and that’s a CG photoshop comparison, once again missing the look.

Also, Patrick XING the best known bezel modder out right now is doing this stuff for a reason, he’s not a noob shooting at the moon.

He knows what looks are needed and is coming up with options. Said option is what I’ve used.

We have been very excited about these double platinum since we began hearing about them. This is genuinely something to be excited for and worth the upgrade imo.

It is there... Try.net. Just ask me for better pricing. All that product ships two day from USA. It will be a little more but not much. If you are pinching pennies you can use wise and wait for China shipping through Patrick. Just an extra option.

There’s no direct translation of “white gold” in English to Chinese, hence the confusing product name. Though if you look at the pictures, you can clearly see that the aftermarket bezel has the signature warm yellowish hue of white gold, not bright white like platinum/rhodium/palladium. It’s very obvious in the pics where the bezels are placed next to one another under direct light, no one would mistake that for platinum.
