Loctite also has a medium strength 248 compound that comes in a "Quickstick" chapstik like dispenser. I haven't used loctite on any of my bands or watches so I can't comment on that particular use. I have, however, used it on plenty of other "small screw" applications and it's sooo much easier to work with as a paste rather than liquid.
