Does anyone use the 116610 Glidelock Clasp on a 16610 Bracelet?

No offense to the Glide Lock lovers but I hate that clasp. I like the lighter original one on my sub........

I bet most gen owners would swap their tuna cans for a Glidelock if there was no difference in cost. It's just that you need to sell a kidney to get one :sinking:

I've got a c-Sub bracelet on both my SD and Noob Sub. Love it

Not everyone has the same taste.......I love the look of the DSSD but have worn a gen for about 15 minutes & its way too heavy for my wrist, im a skinny guy. Hence my reasoning of not liking the glide lock.......sure it makes life easier when adjusting the bracelet but its not for everyone.

Ive owned 2 gen with the newer clasp (not the glide lock clasp) & hate the look. I like the old imprint clasps that look like the rest of the oyster bracelet.

That´s true...Each one on its own.
I´m a skinny guy too (wrists are 6,25"), and I like alot the GlideLock Clasp, it´s indeed easy to adjust and I can get a nicer fit on the watches, but what I really like is to keep the original - read "stock" - look of the watches.

So, I have used the GlideLock on my old Sub (16610) and on my GMT (16710) but afterall I have changed back to their original clasps and that is what I keep using nowadays.

I think I have enough watches to wear with the GlideLock if I really want to have that on my wrist. The Sub collection is pretty much wide on my watchbox

:conga:

Enjoying your watches, that´s all that matters!

Do you use the rep glidelock from a Noob V7? I want to put one on a TC V6 16610. Toro will sell me a clasp but is asking if I want 116610 v6s or v7.

GlideLock works fine and fits with no problems on any old style bracelet, as long as it´s made at least in the same specifications.
...I have used a GlideLock on my 16610 Sub, and also on a GMT-II Coke for some time, just for the kicks.

You can see my conclusions here:
