Does anyone make a decent 14060 rep?

I'd say go for it! What do you have to loose?! It'll be a good experience and show it off to all of us!

I was in the market of building a no date sub but was stopped as to the same things were said but had no idea of this rep try it!

Thanks alligoat. That takes me to the same page.

The thing is the case size is part of what I like. The no date wears noticeably thinner than the date.

Useful thread guys. The vintage no date sub is probably my favourite Rollie and was lusting after the gen for ages. They look great on leather.

That watch on trustytime was listed in 2006. There is no chance it’s still available. You will need to find something within the last couple years to have any chance of finding it. I haven’t seen any 14060 anywhere. If you’re lucky, a Gen dial would fit into a JF case but you would have to do some research and measuring to see if it will fit.

Aren't there any no date dials from third party producers like Raffles that could maybe fit into the JF case? You could probably email him and ask if he could make a one-off

1. Buy a 5513 instead
2. Save the effort and headache by going gen. The opportunity cost of making more money and buying gen is better than the process of researching / building a 14060

If you hold a gen 14060 next to an out-of-the-box rep 14060 (which is basically a 16610 case with a no date dial), then you will totally agree that a gen 14060 is the only way to go. The proportions of a gen 16610 is different to a gen 14060: both watches don't share the same bezel, crystal, insert and dial.

Once again, there are absolutely no decent and accessible 14060 base rep for modding and building. Go gen or buy a 5513 instead

I have a gen 14060. I was basically looking for something to wear in places/situations that I didn't want to wear a 7K watch. But that was close enough since I really like the way it wears.

When you say 5513 are you talking a rep? Are they decent?

yes, modded 5513 reps with vietnam dial and nice hands are miles ahead

What no date dial could you fit in a JF 16610? Since the size of the 14060 dial is too small...
