The main question is if this is the standard procedure

EVERY package that is shipped from China to any EU country goes through UK?

Or is it something that you have ask as an additional service?

Thanx

nipe I appreciate your help with the 4PX - it makes perfect sense and why the TD are so sure of it. Only Brexit can be a bit of a party crasher ;)

And fully agree - triangular shipping is a must so dont be afraid to spend extra on it !

For future reference. Everything went as nipe said. Around one week to continental Europe from the UK. Delivered by domestic post. The Brexit situation might be a problem soon. Hope there is a new trade route around the corner!

Apologies for resurrecting a old thread, hoping I'm as fortunate as nipe, as my recent purchase was dispatched through 4PX and has fallen of the grid for almost a week, it landed in the U.K. On the 13/4 then nothing. Keep checking the tracking but no updates maybe it will just turn up or would there be a new tracking number that I'm not aware off ? It's been a while since I last made a purchase so not sure what 4PX is like regarding reliability?

I think that with COVID-19 you can expect a delay. I wouldn't worry too much. Give it at least 1-2 weeks more, I know due to congestion in China, roughly 2 weeks are added and I can only imagine 4PX are feeling the same effect in their UK hub. I know it's frustrating when nothing happens and you are worrying if you will ever get your parcel, I definitely felt that non-stop while I was waiting for my parcel to arrive. Don't sweat it though, it should hopefully arrive.

It would be great if you could update also the thread later for others to see what happened in your case.

What will happen with the triangular shipping via the UK to Europe after the Brexit transitional period?

Regards
