Thanks for posting that Boss, twas interesting/mildly infuriating to see yet another example of consumers being stitched up by a postal company.
It depressingly follows the pattern of companies doing everything they can to extract money from customers in every possible way - including either semi-legally or downright illegally if they can get away with it. I mean, just look at what our venerable institution The Post Office did to their own employees here in the UK (a story I followed with grim fascination, frustration and anger for many years in Private Eye magazine, that only became a proper public scandal when a TV drama doc was made about it).
I'm irritated every time ParcelForce sticks an additional fee onto "processing" my items coming through customs into the UK. Not only do I have to pay the government 25 bloody percent of its value, I also have to pay ParcelForce - who have already been paid by their Government contract to do the job in the first place.
