You guys are right, $1m is totally off the charts INSANE, even for a 203 (prolly 10x the max value it can actually command)….here’s the thing though, this listing is all over the watch forums by now, on the gen and rep sites, and it’s generating endless amounts of debate, interest, and hits on the auction page…sounds like a pretty savvy marketing strategy to me…how many rich, stuffed shirts do you think are sitting at their desks right now thinking, “damn, $1m is fcuking crazy, but I wonder how much he’d actually take for the thing…?â€

He's a moron if he thinks someone will dump a ticket on Eba

He even states in the info section that the last one to be auctioned off at sothebys on ly got 90,000! Why in the hell would he think then that it could fetch 1 million!??

The whole point is that it's gotten people talking and it's generated a sh!t load of buzz...of course no one's gonna pay a mil for it...but maybe someone will pay $100k, and it'll still be one of the most expensive Panerai's ever sold....it's a no lose situation...i guess one other thing to consider is that the seller is a very reputable panerai dealer, and he knows what he's doing...for what it’s worth.

Point well taken. You are right! He is bound to make a fortune on the watch with his tactics.
