Do you guys with gold wedding bands wear SS watches?

Sounds kind of OCD, but I have a real hard time wearing all SS watches with my gold wedding band. I think that's why i've mainly stayed vintage with gilt dials and gold hands. I prefer two-tone, but the gold always seem to tarnish or wear off, and a good gold bracelet is $750 and up (maybe someday for a grail build). I know I'm missing out on a lot of great watches. Does anyone other than me really care? I think that's why I'm holding off on a TC...

I am OCD for that as well. But I'm the opposite, I have a SS wedding band and would not be able to wear a gold watch.
Have you thought about getting a second wedding band?

lol. the "let's get nekkid" look would be best. but yes, changing wedding rings probably not a good idea most of the time. unless she really doesn't mind. I'm not a gold person, so my wedding ring was silver, and I would do a two tone but mostly my watches are always stainless. I really don't see an issue of wearing a stainless watch with a gold ring, but I can see where some people would not. You can always wear your watch on your other wrist. Actually I do that once in awhile just for a change.

I wear a tungsten carbide ring. No thought is given whether or not my watches match with it.

I don't wear gold at all. I am even uncomfortable wearing a pen with gold fixtures.

The Prophet told us "A man who wears gold and silk in this life will not wear gold and silk in the next." I realize this was really a condemnation of conspicuous consumption in the face of poverty; but I am still aware of the letter of the law, along with its spirit.

I have a yellow gold and a platinum wedding band, but no gold watches. I do try and match, but I wear the gold ring a lot more than the platinum, because it was about 10% of the price (much thinner, non designer) and much more comfortable. Having a yellow gold ring definitely makes me want a gold watch, but I don't really like buying rep "gold" watches.

i only really care about matching when getting dressed up, and in that case it's always platinum band and SS watch.

I wear a platinum (silver) wedding ring. If I wear a gold watch, I put it on my right hand.

I always match metals. Watch, wedding band, and belt buckle. My OCD is so bad I have 4 wedding bands. Wife has OCD too so she is cool with it [emoji41]Brushed stainless or gold for sport watches, polished platinum or gold for dress watches. Same with belt buckles, try to match color and texture.
I know it's pathetic but the truth...

You guys spend too much time thinking  but might try that one as an excuse 'wearing my stainless watch tonight dear, so can't possibly wear my gold wedding ring'

Just have a tungsten ring and wear SS or good watches with it. But now I'm starting to second guess myself. Thanks a lot you jerks!

Wear the watch on the right wrist, not left. Bingo, problem solved.
