Do you choose to buy certain models because?

Hello everyone,

I am always wondering, when you guys decide to pull the trigger on certain models, what is the main reason that actually makes you want to have the watch ?

I can think of some of the factors like:

1. Closer to GEN (Like 111, 390, 243 and other super reps) even though it probably means that there are plenty of particular reps around but because of the craftsmanship, i will just buy the 111 for example (CLOSER TO GEN and DESIGN)

2. I could careless about how close it is to the GEN, I just want to buy the model I like (PURE AESTHETIC / DESIGN of my preference)

3. I am only looking for the rare ones or modified ones so i won't see anyone on the street has same watch.

There are perhaps many other reasons, please share your thoughts~

#1 + i like the design, quality, finishing of the watch.

For example, i wouldn't go for 359 before KW version is made even though i like it very much and like 243, it is a very well made rep but I don't like the design of this watch so I have never thought of getting it.

I like it because I want it to look like a GEN.

That why we have FIRST CLASS REP and SUPER REP.

I dun want mine PAM to look like PAN. HAHA......

I just placed my very first order on a 390 based on #1 & maybe a little bit of #2.

#1 but I wouldn't buy a rep unless I loved the aesthetics too. I will never buy a watch I don't love even if it is the most perfect rep ever produced.

i would like #1 (75%) and #2 (25%)
because there is no reason for me to get those that not closer to gen
in quality, finish, design,etc.

First is #2 and that is the only reason to buy anything. Ahh but then if you're buying a rep why not have one as close to the get as possible so definitely a large dose of #1

I am assuming everyone wants a decent rep within super (first class) rap range. (me too by the way in most cases) Sadly, I live in HK, where I see people (guys + girls) wearing a PAM almost every half hour. (000, 005, 111, 088, 029) mostly SS, you name the model... every 15 mins for Rolex by the way

Nobody likes a customized good rep from River or DSN or other makers ? (I am not advertising for them) but after seeing so many ppl wearing PAMs, I am starting to somewhat want a unique vintage PAM that has more character. Thats my thought.

Totally about the aesthetics... Just want it to look good. There are some reps that have no gen counterpart and they are awesome. Buy what makes you happy. That's what I say anyway...that and everybody Wang Chung tonight !!!

2- To make collection 100% 1
