I don't think it's disrespectful nor do I feel it's necessary explaining the situation to everyone on the forum, people have already voiced there opinions so I've decided to leave it at that, I have fully explained my side of the story as best I can but obviously it doesn't look good. I have been pming certain people back and fourth currently waiting for a response.
I do have a genuine explanation as to why these photographs are online and where they could of been found.

So you selling a watch on a rep forum, then magically the watch appears on eBay being sold as a gen. You don't think that's disrespect for everything we stand for? We're here to enjoy the hobby, not scam anybody. If you were truly innocent then you would had defended yourself in the open and not hide behind PM's. To me that's being a coward. The court of public opinion means a lot on this forum. If I'm wrong and there is a solid excuse and proof of your innocence then I will happily apologize but as it stands, I don't believe you.

Can someone explain to me why you would advertise a rep on this forum and the same watch as a gen, at the same time on EBay. Doesn't make sense. It would always end in tears, what if they both sold.

I think you DO owe everyone an explanation in this community, were you not attempting to sell a watch to ANY and EVERY ONE?

It’s your brothers in this community that you build trust with, share information with and become an integral member over time. The mods and admin are here to assist you and everyone else with this process and not fight your battles for you. It’s up to you to act as a creditable member.

If you’re not able to become completely transparent to this community, then you can stick a fork in your membership, because you will be done, no one will trust you.

If there really is a genuine story the staff hold will be removed in due course. In the meantime OP if you want to gain a little trust back then being a little more open would help your cause. You want members to buy from you but you don't wish to offer any explanation about this? Good luck with that.

It's good for the mods to quickly put a HOLD on these sales/members when things like this happen, and I'm glad they investigate thoroughly. As for those of us sitting at home with the popcorn, we should reserve judgement whilst discussing the possibilities and likelihoods. This forum is the only way to really enjoy this hobby, and it would suck to be falsely accused and banned without some sort of due process. I love the mods' attitude and method for dealing with these problems, but sometimes the other casual observers that chime in are too quick to suggest a ban.

Now as to this specific thread... why would OP list it for sale on fleabay for 500.00 and then here for 175.00? If he was a real scammer, wouldn't he be listing this on fleabay only, trying to get the most he can? Now, not all scammers are smart, but this dual-listing thing at least makes me think there may be something else going on.

Well said. I really don't understand why everyone else doesn't see this. I'm not saying the OP is necessarily innocent, only that their is a very strong possibility given the circumstances.

Maybe as the sale is on hold the mods could put the comments section on hold too?? until the issue is resolved with the seller, all this thread crapping pushes legitimate sales down and off the first page.
