Man maybe I am color blind because I see them very alike. Yes Gen might be slightly darker but not such a big deal tbh

Do you think this bezel color is closer to gen?
Never mind the colour, what about the kooky font. Look at the '1's...
Did you get the CHS version? So, I've got this watch today, overall its pretty stunning except for that shitty bezel transition on 6 and 18. At first I thought that sharpie silver pen would fix it but then I saw the real problem with it.. seems like this bezel is made out of 2 parts and the "soldering" point is exactly where 6 and 18 are. They are not leveled. Bottom blue part is slightly higher (inside the cutout of the numbers of course) and that creates this annoying line. It's easy to see, just grab a needle and go through the cutout, you will see that its uneven. At first I tried to use some kind of very liquid glue to even the surface out but it didn't work and sharpie pen on top wouldn't dry properly. And then I found an old tube of chemical metal. And voila... really tiny amount to fill the unevenness, let it dry, paint 2-3 layers of sharpie on top and it's pretty fucking perfect. I'll take some daylight pics tomorrow cause I just did the number 6, will do 18 tomorrow since it takes some time to dry and I'm already half shitfaced from G&T and beer.
Sorry for the crap pics, but you'll see what i mean.
Not modded "18":
Modded "6":
Expect more updates tomorrow.
Well, the end result is
Pretty darn good. No pictures during the day cause it's quiet cloudy in Berlin lately.
So the full procedure is
1) Apply some chemical metal with hardener to the numerals 18 and 6. Even it out with a tooth pick.
2) let it dry a bit like 30 min and use an empty rollerball pen to make the numerals deeper again, basically removing the excess. You can use anything else like a pencil or something like a plastic pointer that is very thin, roughly the cutout size. Keep evening it out until it reaches the bottom but still no gap is visible between botton and top parts of the bezel
3) Apply sharpie paint and after 2 min clean out the excess. Repeat 2 times.
4) next day use a cotton cloth with some alcohol and gently rub on top to even the surface out. Don't press to much.
5) Voila
Hope this helps
