My only concern is removing the balance wheel and removing the pallet fork.
Does is take a special technique to remove them? Like removing the balance wheel in a 90 degree angle ?

I was going to suggest pulling the balance bridge first and walking down the barrel but this makes some people rather nervous . All in all great job my friend !This is a step by step dismantle guide for would be DIY-ers to take apart their 2824-2 movement.

This guide assumes that you know how to do the following before you can get to dismantle the movement:
- Remove bracelet with a spring bar tool
- Open case back with a sticky ball or case back tool
- Remove movement holder with a screw driver and cushion
- Remove hands and dial with hand levers or presto hand remover
And now, on to the dismantling of the movement.
