V6 looks very good! The strap... it is and it will ever be a "rep strap crap strap". These chinese guys cannot produce good or very good leather articles. So buy it with bracelet if available and buy a gen strap or a very good after market strap. Rep straps are for the trash bin ASAP. Sorry just my 2 cents.
Smaller date font is right though, it's not suppose to almost touch the window like MK does.

While I do agree, I do think that V6 did a huge leap towards the gen. I think the sloppy numeral is a direct consequence of scanning the dial and then making a cad out of it without refining the edges. A chinese thread I was reading where a competing factory talked trash about the new v6 prince accidentally revealed that this watch was a result of a customer bringing in a gen version to be cloned. If that is true, then it explains why the improvement on the dial and caseback upon first try by v6. MK and SW both have their more fatal mistakes. Niether has sunburst, Mk has a very bad caseback, while SW has the wrong spacing for its numeral 7. Considering noob spend 5 years with 5 versions and still couldn't get the sub right. I think this is a very praise-worthy XVII prince, no?
Yes, I agree they've made significant improvements on some very important features-- that's really fantastic! I'll admit, we do have a habit of emphasizing the negatives when critiquing the rep releases and we too rarely give praise where it's due. Nice job, V6F
When we see such breakthoughs as you pointed out, it's unfortunate when a backward step is taken on another feature. As somebody else recently pointed out (perhaps in a different thread), our criticism fuels continued improvement. I like this hobby and this forum because here I'm among others who are as meticulous and picky (read: anal) as me! Hopefully we'll soon see a version released where all the good details come together on the same unit. The only thing V6 needs to do is crisp up the numeral edges then BANG we've got a super-rep. I'm optimistic
The 'crispness' of the numeral edges is a non issue in real life and not noticeable. My macro pics of poor quality taken with a phone have exaggerated this issue due to lighting and angle it was taken at. The raised print on the numerals contribute to the perceived rounded edges. The base numeral print on dial is sharp. When viewed dead on the gen numerals do not look any sharper unless through a loupe.
For members who are more meticulous (anal) the numerals would not be the most obvious tell. This in my opinion goes to the finishing on hands, markers and machining on crown, inner lugs edges etc. All said, I think this rep is more than decent quality and accuracy for its price.
