We all know there isn’t a truly perfect replica of the Omega Speedmaster Professional, mainly due to the subdial placement, which often doesn’t align well with automatic movements.
But wouldn’t the Omega Speedmaster Reduced or Rescued 2 be a better choice for a replica? These models have smaller cases and subdials that could potentially match the layout of an automatic movement more accurately.
What do you think? Wouldn’t this be an interesting alternative for replica makers to address the issues with the Professional? Maybe someone has seen such a replica already or has thoughts on how feasible this would be.
