Dear all,

I have search at the Rolex forum site to know the difference between the 3186 and 3285 movement in replica Rolex watches with CHS. Noob is using 3285 in his latest Pepsi with CHS. Is this the same movement as 3186 where people have problems with the durability of the movement?

i found a lot of posts for 3186 but for 3285 Ivhave my difficulties to find.

thank you

The Noob movement is a 2824 CHS timebomb with fake 3285 engravings on it. Exactly the same movement that other factories call A3186. The new gen Pepsi and Batman with gen 3285 set time by turning the crown anti-clockwise, so +1 for the timebomb in these models, lol.

ETA ICHS movements are 2836s.

These should not be confused with the new ARF SH3186 or the VR3185 which are both true clone movements.

Many thanks ???? for your reply KJ2020, where to buy the Pepsi the ARF or VRF you have mentioned?

The 3285 then should be set as in the sticky guide here in the forum, right?

Yeah I forgot about the VRF Batman. I think it will be a while before either comes out with a Pepsi, which is what you were looking for. Even Rolex has taken several iterations to improve their insert.

Ok, great, thank you. Will wait for the new Pepsi from VRF. Many thanks for your great help! Is there any watch doctor in Frankfurt area in Germany to fix the watch if I crash the movement (hope not to happen : ))?

The CHS cannot be repaired, approx 130 USD will convert it to ICHS if it breaks (if I remember correctly the sum).

There are threads about fixing them and converting to ICHS.

I bought a Rolex GMT 116710ln with A3186. And I was really confused because in TD’s site. It was stated “same adjusting as genuine” but when I received the watch, the hands are adjusting forward if I turn the crown anti-clockwise. Cry cry cry

Yes, this is normal with the clone movement. There is nothing you can change. Strange, but it works. Do not set the hour hand when crown is in position 2. There is a sticky guide here at the Rolex section forum how to adjust time, date and GMT with a 3186 movement.

Is your GMT hand or hour hand on the bottom?

The latest Pepsi model with the original Rolex 3285 movement adjusts the hands also forward if you turn the crown anti-clockwise. So it is 1:1 to gen

The model he was asking about is 116710. It does not have a 3285 movement. On those, forward crown movement advances hands forward.

Only 12xxxx models (coronet logo at 6 o'clock) have 3285 movements.

There are no 12xxxx LNs
