Hi all,
So I was really excited to purchase my first rep and after doing some research and reading reviews, I decided to order from Jtime due to their fantastic reputation. I reached out to someone claiming to be Li on WhatsApp (verified # is correct from their website: +86 139 2886 9440) and let them know what I wanted to order. The person was on the other end was extremely helpful and communicative, right up to the part when I forked over the money, and then crickets. Absolutely no response to messages, emails and calls since. I’m getting really worried that I got played. I don’t know if he’s just busy, but the least he can do is confirm the transaction.

Never ordered from a TD before until a couple of days ago. I verified the WhatsApp phone number on their website: Jtime.io. It’s just odd that all communication stopped immediately after sending payment. One can’t help but feel duped. I hope I’m wrong but can see the messages are being read and no reply.

Try not to worry. Just remember you are not the only one ordering a watch. It takes time to get a watch from a factory and then take photos and send them to you. I say give it time. Sometimes it takes weeks to get a watch. But if all the info is correct you should be fine. One thing I learned here is be patient.

Try not to worry. Just remember you are not the only one ordering a watch. It takes time to get a watch from a factory and then take photos and send them to you. I say give it time. Sometimes it takes weeks to get a watch. But if all the info is correct you should be fine. One thing I learned here is be patient.

Actually it is like Amazon. You pay the vendor for a product, get confirmation, and receive said product in the mail. The “process” doesn’t need to involve ghosting your customers and make them feel unassured. Businesses with poor customer service typically don’t stick around for long.

business. So if someone is ill or something happens to the family there might be no backup.

Yes but this is illegal goods.... apples to oranges.... you want that hand holding beautiful experience with no worries and constant reassurance? Even gen Rolex watches will not give you that LOL

Anyways, how long has it been since he replied to you?

And what watch did you order?

These are all important to answer.

You can ask him every day, but if a factory hasn't produced or released the batch of watch you want, you asking every day will not magically make the watch come faster.

If you ordered a popular watch like a Clean GMT or a watch like a VSF sub that only releases in batches twice a month, you will be waiting.

This is your first watch so you are nervous, understandable, I was nervous too but yes, you will be laughing because you're freaking over nothing. By the way, making a post to slander a TD straight off the bat is not how you resolve such an issue lol.

The latter if you bought from Li and not some fake imposter site pretending to be Li. But I was more refering to laughing in hindsight because you have a general knowledge about this business, not because you have successfully concluded one single transaction.

And sorry to break this to you but the potential "loss" of your intended purchase of three more watches will not impress anybody.

If you did order on the right whatsapp, then indeed you are freaking out for nothing.

It is standard behaviour for most TDs to be quite reactive in sales phase, and then after payment, they only contact you to send the QC. This can take anywhere from 3 days to months depending on the watch. Average being 2-3 weeks.

Now you know. Whether or not you will continue to buy reps is up to you. The experience is not going to be much different per TD

And if you really want to compare customer service, go to an AD and ask to buy a sub immediately. It will be fun

I get it buddy, you're nervous, my first purchase I sent $800 to a TD for a Daytona, so I get it. But let's calm down and think rationally.

You said a few days ago you last replied after you sent the money. Ok, just politely send ONE message if he recieved your money yet. No more, no less. JTime will get back to you.

Depending on what you used to transfer the money and even where you come from it can take several days for confirmation and the money to transfer into China. Right now it's the weekend, so no banking is being done and people are off for the weekends (including TDs) - you take the weekends off too don't you?

So actually, him not replying sounds completely normal to me.

Some TDs, I send the money, then forget about the transaction until I get a message from the TD with the QC pictures, like a fun birthday surprise.
